What are all these options bidding twice doing there? I would rather pass throughout than take two bids.

I think Pass, Double and 2 are all reasonable at the first opportunity, I would probably double.

See Free's response.

I didn't include Pass for the first option because I don't think one should pass in this situation with a 6-loser hand. If you want to vote Pass at [call 1] you will have to vote other. For the 2nd call, I tried to be thorough and include anything that people might want to do.

I don't think this hand is worth being called a 6-loser hand after RHO opened 1. If partner can't take a bid over 1 nor take a bid after my double, where am I going?

Agree with Arend but I voted dbl then pass. Would certainly not consider bidding in 3rd round.

Hi,

I voted other.

Assuming a direct 2C bid is artificial,
I would bid 2C the 2nd time (it has to
be natural), and after I told my story
pass.

With kind regards

That option is called "2 then pass" in the poll :)

It's already given that you pass over 1, since 2 would be a 2-suiter...

I voted 2, then pass.
With my regular partner I'd make a natural 2 overcall directly over 1. (We use 2M directly to show both majors.)
Kind regards,
Harald
