Here is a link to a fairly recent and fairly obscure article about a Homeland Security contract awarded to KBR, an arm of Haliburton: http://www.marketwatch.com/News/Story/Stor...77662-858254656
In case you don't feel like reading it, a quick synopsis. HS gave KBR (a Haliburton subsidiary) a $385 million dollar contract to establish detention and processing facilities in the U.S. The explanation for need is in case of an emergency influx of immigrants or to support the rapid development of new programs.
Detention camps? New programs?
Why are detention facilities necessary?
What influx of immigrants is HS anticipating?
How do you feel about detention camps in the U.S.? Homeland Security and the Patriot Act also cover domestic terrorism. Does the idea of domestic detention camps, the DHS, and the Patriot Act make you feel more or less secure?

I agree!
Why build detention centers for immigrants, we do not have enough detention centers for the USA citizens that are here already! Once again our tax dollars going to Bush cronies for immigrants when they could go to USA citizens.
