2♠ ..?

Your options are pass or 3♠. Pard will not understand if you bid 3♦ or 3♥ :ph34r: (You can try them, though.)

3S. Closer to a 4 bid than pass to me, but my stiff being in partners suit is suboptimal. 3 seems perfect.

I would pass, If I didn't had shown 5 ♠ then and only then I woudl consider an invitational in ♦. Sadly it is unavaible. So I would pass always :). (I hate singleton on partner's suit, specially when discards will likelly produce nothing)

While 2NT might be good at MP, this hand may have problems making 2S if there is a C tap.....pass and let them come in at the 3 level.....
