Does someone know why GIB is behaving differently at trick 1 at the 2 tables on board 6 here?

Icycookie - Elyk2513 - 6 in 7 boardsHe accepted my challenge but did not complete it, only playing 7 boards. Do we have a 9 board rematch or otherwise?http://webutil.bridgebase.com/v2/tview.php?t=ARDCHALLENGE:1182b422.8d73.11e7.8113.0cc47a39aeb4-1504091101&u=icycookie

As usual I'll wait for Elyk25's explanation.

I think Elyk25 has dropped out. He did not accept my challenge. I sent him another challenge, and he must have rejected it, as it is gone from my list of challenges.

EDIT: Elyk25 showed up, accepted my challenge and played the match. Result reported in a separate post.

You have different bidding sequences, which leads to different simulations.

Well, I get that. I was wondering what difference it can possibly make for the opening lead between 1x-1NT-3NT and 1x-1NT-2NT-3NT whit that holding... if you're going to make the most out of your hand of course.

Ah. In that case, no idea. My calculations shows a diamond lead averages over 1 IMP better than a heart lead on both auctions.

elyk25 sent this message to me in pm "I'm free now. So sorry I wasn't able to complete it in time. I take full resposibility. I can play the last 9 whenever."

I've sent a 9 board imp best hand challenge and pmed him, we'll report the combined score again when its done.

I've got no issue with replaying the hand, tried to issue a 1 board challenge and it resets to 4 hands, should I just issue that and only play one of them?

Powerduck 21 - Derppp 27

Part#1: 9 boards
=======================
There was a problem with the matches between Derppp and me. I finished my boards, but Derppp was not able to play all 16 boards (thru 9) when his time expired.

The result at that point was

Powerduck 5 - Derppp 10
http://webutil.bridg...264&u=powerduck
=======================
Part#2: 7 boards
=======================
Powerduck 16 - Derppp 17
